Orders placed by bank transfer When you place an order via our bank transfer checkout, the information you enter into the form (name, billing address, delivery address if different, email address, telephone number if provided, company name and VAT ID if provided, and any notes you add) is transmitted to us by email and processed for the sole purpose of handling your order, issuing your invoice, and arranging shipment. Emails are sent from and received on servers operated by our hosting provider, netcup GmbH (Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany), with the server located in Nuremberg, Germany. Your data does not leave the European Union at this stage. A copy of your order is stored on this server so that we can process it reliably. For technical security purposes we also record the IP address from which the order was submitted, together with a timestamp. This is used exclusively to prevent abuse of the form and is not used to profile you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in preventing misuse of our contact and order forms). Retention: Order data is retained for as long as necessary to complete the sale and thereafter for the periods required by German commercial and tax law (generally 6 to 10 years, §§ 147 AO, 257 HGB). Data collected purely for abuse prevention is deleted after a short period. Recipients: Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising. It is disclosed only where necessary to fulfil your order — for example to our shipping and customs agents, so that they can deliver the piece to you. Your rights: You may at any time request access to, correction of, or erasure of your data, restrict its processing, object to processing, and request data portability, in accordance with Articles 15 to 21 GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at business@asayasculpture.com. Newsletter: If you tick the optional newsletter box, we will use your email address to inform you about new works and exhibitions. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
